Upgrade Programme

The main fund raising event out of the UK, the Ride Round The Top, will be June/July 2008.  We will then be able to determine just how much we are going to be able to achieve.  At that time, this web site will be updated to show the proposed timing for various activities.

Our priorities are:

Repair and upgrade the existing classrooms

Lay pipes for water – drinking and hand washing

Build new classrooms to drop the number of students per room to closer to 40

Build and equip a library

Provide solar panels for electricity

Lay paths

Provide playground equipment

Lay dedicated sports areas and provide sports equipment

Build additional facilities (kitchen, eating area, computer room etc)

Provide the school with a stockpile of ‘spare’ uniforms to be given to children who would otherwise not be able to attend school
